As a reminder, as stated in the job posting and online application, City Year requires that all staff and AmeriCorps members be fully vaccinated from COVID-19 by your start date and provide proof of vaccination. An individual is considered fully vaccinated 14 days after the completion of their primary vaccination series. If you are unvaccinated and intend on requesting accommodations for medical reasons or sincerely-held religious beliefs, you will be able to do so when you complete critical tasks in our hiring system, Workday. You will be receiving an email to begin that process in the very near future.
Upon receipt of your accommodation request, the Vaccine Accommodations and Exemption Review Team will review your request and determine if an accommodation or exemption can be granted. Before a determination can be made, there may be additional information requested by the Vaccine Accommodations and Exemption Review Team. Please be sure to provide that information as quickly as possible so that the Review Team can make a determination on your request.
