Widener University offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff
$5,000 scholarships
A $5,000 Presidential Service Corps / Bonner Leader Program Scholarship will be awarded to all admitted City Year applicants for a full-time undergraduate program.
Widener University will also match the Eli Segal Education Award for a maximum of two years, dollar for dollar, up to $5,350.
Scholarships are awarded to City Year AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.
Applicants will be considered for additional merit-based awards depending on their academic strength.
Eligible programs
All full-time undergraduate programs in the following schools and colleges are eligible for the scholarship and Education Award match:
- College of Arts and Sciences
- College of Health and Human Services
- Exploratory Studies: undecided pathway
- School of Business
- School of Engineering
- School of Nursing
