City Year enables the leaders of tomorrow to impact our communities today. Join us in helping all students thrive.
Our corporate partners play a critical role in City Year’s effort to create learning environments that support student achievement at systemically under-resourced schools across the country. We are proud to say that many leading businesses, including 45% of Fortune 100 companies, recognize that partnering with City Year is good for their local communities—and good for business.
City Year and its philanthropic partners work together toward a common goal: ensuring all students have access to personalized learning environments that help them reach their full potential. City Year AmeriCorps members build strong relationships with students to help them develop the academic and social-emotional skills necessary to stay on track to high school graduation.
City Year offers many ways for individuals like you to make a difference. Find out how to support City Year in your local community, take part in our annual campaign and engage with our corps and members of our broader community through our donor networks.
City Year partners with 350 schools and 51 school districts across the U.S. to create positive learning environments that benefit the entire school community. Working closely with partner schools, City Year also convenes district and school leaders to build learning networks, where we share what we’re learning, spread promising practices and support continuous improvement.
The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) is an independent federal agency that deploys more than three million Americans in service through its core programs, including AmeriCorps. State service commissions work with CNCS to support service in each state.
City Year partners with many organizations who share our commitment to youth and leadership development—and play a critical role in building a qualified and diverse pool of AmeriCorps members.
