Collin E. Bailey is a corporate executive, procurement thought leader and attorney. Collin most recently served as Chief Transformation Officer at Hudson’s Bay Company. As CTO Collin oversaw the enterprise transformation focused on taking three digital companies to IPO and the associated contracts, people and technology considerations involved. Collin also is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Roger Williams University School of Law where he teaches Transactional Lawyering and Contract Drafting.
Prior to Hudson’s Bay Company, Collin was the Senior Director of Enterprise Procurement for CVS Health where he received a CEO Breakthrough Award for delivering hundreds of millions of dollars of savings. Collin is a graduate of Caldwell University and Roger Williams University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island. Collin currently serves as Chairman of the Board at City Year Providence.
Kimberly Bright serves as the Executive Director of Strategic Initiatives at Rhode Island College. In this role, Kim is tasked with leading the strategic planning process. Additionally, Kim is instrumental in keeping our key initiatives on track, crafting and implementing the college’s legislative strategy, and managing several other projects on behalf of the President.
Prior to joining RIC, Kim served as the Chief of Staff to the RI Postsecondary Commissioner and as the Acting Executive Director of the Rhode Island Nursing Education Center. In her capacity as Chief of Staff, Kim managed a variety of operations for three different Commissioners, including strategic planning, communications and outreach, legislative affairs, academic affairs, finance, and Board relations.
At the Rhode Island Nursing Education Center, Kimberly oversaw all operations of the facility, including all fiscal, administrative, communications, stakeholder management, and human resources functions. Kim began her state service at the Rhode Island Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as the Chief of Staff to the Commissioner and Policy Director. She had previously served as Director of Field Operations for Marriage Equality Rhode Island. Kim has also served on the staff of several Members of Congress and is a veteran of several electoral campaigns. Kim holds a B.A. in psychology from the University in Rhode Island and a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Kim serves on several boards and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In her free time, Kim enjoys traveling, spending time on the beach, and living her best life with her labradoodle Lewis.
Mary Jo is the Vice President of Community Engagement at Brown University and Executive Director of the Swearer Center for Public Service, leading efforts to integrate equitable and sustainable community-engaged teaching, research, and practice. As an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Education and member of the President’s Cabinet, she advances Brown’s place-based engagement in Providence and Rhode Island.
Previously, she directed the Edward Ginsberg Center at the University of Michigan and held various roles in K-12 schools, local government, and youth-serving nonprofits. Mary Jo holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Michigan and a doctorate in educational policy and leadership from William & Mary. She and her wife, Katie, have called Providence home since 2001 and deeply appreciate its vibrant and interconnected community.
As Executive Vice President of Global Sales at Collette, Christian leads strategic partnerships, new business development, and customer care, ensuring exceptional service and consistency across the company. Since joining Collette in 2007, he has played a key role in expanding its global reach. Christian holds an MBA from Babson College and a bachelor's degree in business from the University of New Hampshire. He has a strong commitment to the community and is a passionate sports fan. He enjoys supporting youth athletics and spending time with his wife and three children.
Maureen Dizon is a proud City Year alumna (CYDC ’10-’11). She currently works at the Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) as Associate Chief of Staff.
Her previous roles at RIDE include serving as a Transformation Specialist supporting school improvement and as a Public Engagement Fellow developing Rhode Island's Every Student Succeeds Act state plan. Maureen also worked at the Rhode Island Office of Innovation as a project manager for the organization’s education portfolio. Prior to coming to Rhode Island, Maureen was a founding staff member at Mundo Verde Bilingual Public Charter School in Washington, D.C., where she held both instructional and administrative roles. In addition to her City Year/AmeriCorps service, Maureen is a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer whose project work included youth development and English instruction in Guatemala. She holds an A.M. in Urban Education Policy from Brown and a bachelor’s in linguistics from the University of Rochester.
Cynthia (“Cindy”) Durkin is Executive Counsel at Textron Inc., a global company operating in the aircraft, defense, industrial, and finance sectors. In this role, Cindy manages the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Team and has an active role in overseeing all operational elements of Textron’s E&C program.
Most recently, Cindy was Vice President - Compliance and Ethics at Kohler Co., a worldwide producer of kitchen and bath, power (since divested), and hospitality products and services. At Kohler, Cindy served as inaugural compliance executive and managed the compliance, international trade, and product compliance programs and teams.
Prior to joining Kohler, Cindy was Vice President and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Arconic Inc., a producer of lightweight advanced materials and alloys for the aerospace, automotive, building, and construction industries. In addition, Cindy spent 17 years at General Electric Company, with roles of increasing responsibility in litigation and compliance at GE Aviation (now GE Aerospace) and GE Power (now GE Vernova). Notably, Cindy served as Chief Compliance Officer at GE’s Distributed Power and GE Power’s Gas Power Systems business units. In her early career, she was in private litigation practice. Cindy is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law and holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Kentucky. Cindy is an Adjunct Professor at University of Pittsburgh School of Law’s Corporate Compliance Certificate program. She lives in Providence, Rhode Island.
Bill Foulkes is a strategic planning and marketing consultant, entrepreneur, and educator with over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, marketing, finance, and organizational development across high-tech and consumer industries. He has led startups like MTI Group Holdings and Context Media, worked in strategy consulting at Telesis (a division of Towers Perrin), and held roles in consumer marketing at Gillette and investment banking at Morgan Stanley. Foulkes created Design and Entrepreneurial Thinking, a course that introduces artists and designers to business concepts, which originated during his tenure as Executive Director of the Center for Design and Business at RISD (2006–08). At RISD, he facilitated collaborative design research projects connecting businesses, educational institutions, and government entities with RISD students, faculty, and alumni.
Chris Maher is the Superintendent-in-Residence at Cambiar, where he leads the Cambiar Catalyst Fellowship, a national program for K-12 systems leaders focused on improving student outcomes through inclusivity and impact. He also drives strategic partnerships with school districts, non-profits, and education entrepreneurs to co-create solutions for entrenched challenges. Previously, Maher served as Superintendent in Providence, where he restructured the district, increased resources for schools, reduced suspensions, improved instructional materials, and advocated for funding for multilingual learners.
He has also served as President of Mass Insight Education, working with superintendents and school boards to improve academic outcomes in low-performing districts. With a career spanning teaching, administration, and advocacy, Maher holds a Master's in Public Administration from NYU and a Graduate Certificate in K-12 Supervision and Administration from the Johns Hopkins University School of Education. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the College of Wooster in Ohio. Maher has participated in the Broad Academy, Harvard University's Public Education Leadership Program, Harvard University's By All Means Initiative, the College Board's National Superintendent's Advisory Committee, and other educational leadership roles.
Rob Markey is a professor at Harvard Business School, teaching the MBA course on Managing Service Operations. He is an advisory partner in Bain & Company’s Boston office, founded and served for nearly 20 years as global leader of the firm’s Customer Strategy and Marketing practice. Mr. Markey’s client work has focused on helping large companies develop into (or remain) enduring loyalty leaders, spurring profitable, sustainable organic revenue growth. His clients have included some of the world’s most respected customer service brands, as well as companies that he helped move from “worst to first” in their industries.
He is perhaps best known as the co-author of The Ultimate Question 2.0: How Net Promoter Companies Thrive in a Customer-Driven World, with Fred Reichheld. He is primary creator of the Net Promoter System of management. His published articles on customer experience and loyalty have appeared in publications such as the Harvard Business Review, including his most recent, “Are You Undervaluing Your Customers,” which appears in the January-February 2020 issue. He is the host of the Customer Confidential podcast. He serves on the board of directors for Forethought Technologies and on the board advisors for Joyous. He chairs the board of MarketOnce. Mr. Markey helped found and served for nearly a decade on the Board of Directors of City Year New York. He is currently a board member of City Year Providence. Prior to joining Bain, he developed competitive strategy, led business development and served in product marketing for LEXIS/NEXIS and the IBM Corporation. Mr. Markey earned an MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is a graduate of Brown University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics. He currently resides in Providence, RI, where his wife is the director of the RISD Museum.
Andrew Viens is a Partner, Head of Risk and Strategic Initiatives for Capital Markets, and Chairman of the Risk and Oversight Committee for Bain Capital, LP. Andy joined the firm in 2005 and currently leads initiatives focused on improving business process outcomes, managing strategic partnerships and the risk management function. From 2005 – 2022, he was Global Head of Operations for the firm’s Capital Markets businesses. Andy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Assumption University. Andy lives in Dover, MA with his wife Suzanne and their three children.
With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, Leslie has expertise in go-to-marketing strategy creation and execution, two-tier channel management excellence, channel program transformation, persona research, value proposition creation, marketing strategy development, channel marketing execution and digital channel management.
Most importantly, she has developed a passion for the channel and dedicated most of her career to enabling the IT Channel. Currently, as the global VP of the IT Channel EcoSystem, she is responsible for the complete ecosystem of global IT Channel partners, which is the primary route-to-market for Schneider Electric’s data center & network division. Her and her team oversees the channel strategy, overall business performance of the IT Channel, Partner Sustainability initiatives, Partner Programs, analyst relations, Ecommerce, partner experience & digitization roadmap, and Channel Marketing.
Previously, she was responsible for setting the 3-5 year strategy for Schneider Electric's IT Channel, focused on driving growth across the industry’s diverse ecosystem of partners. Additionally, Leslie has led the strategies and teams for channel marketing and partner programs for two of Schneider Electric’s largest regions, including both North America and Europe. During those roles, she was responsible for transforming co-marketing and demand generation programs for APC by Schneider Electric IT channel partners, generating increased return on marketing development funds and campaigns. Additionally, her team drove the Channel Partner Program; ensuring it enhances the experience and business objectives of APC’s partners. Driven to bring value to more partners, she took her expertise and passion to the global level Next, she was elevated to lead the global channel partner program and digital animation strategies, which is referred to as Digital Channel Management. Her team drove the strategies, execution and satisfaction for the digital touchpoints, tools, enablement and benefits within the partner program for APC’s large network of partners globally. She is credited for transforming the partner program for one of the leading brands in the IT industry in 2022 which resulted in partners within the partner program generating 8x more revenue. Other than Leslie’s leadership roles for channel marketing, she has also had the opportunity to manage the marketing strategy globally for APC. This included the development of a world-wide portfolio of campaigns, content marketing programs and brand management for APC. Recently, Leslie was named one of CRN’s Power 100 list for 2025 thru 2017 Women of the Channel. Additionally, she is a founding board member & executive board member for the Channel Marketing Association which has a mission of growing and expanding this critical expertise of marketing and channel-led businesses. Outside of work, Leslie enjoys playing and coaching competitive volleyball, both indoor and beach, with friends and her husband near their house in Middletown, RI. She is also a certified health coach helping others transform their daily habits mentally, physically, and mentally to become the best version of themselves. And she also enjoys playing golf (badly) or participating in any outdoor activities including the beach and sun near their home in Middletown, RI.
