One year just isn’t enough. By returning for a second year of service, you’ll build on the skills and relationships you’ve built in your first year to help ensure that our students continue to benefit from City Year.

Team leader
Support and coach a team of first-year AmeriCorps members while working closely with your school administrator and partner teachers to help ensure the success of students.
Service leader
Lead and support a team of first-year AmeriCorps members while continuing your work with students in the classroom (opportunities available in Baton Rouge, Buffalo, Dallas, Denver, Jacksonville, New Orleans, New Hampshire and Tulsa.)
Teaching fellowship
Multiyear teacher preparation pipeline, modeled after medical residency training, that creates locally specialized and nationally relevant pathways into the teaching profession (opportunities available in Denver and Boston).
I wanted to have the opportunity in guiding others to have a meaningful year of service while challenging myself as a leader. My passion to giving back and serving students is what brought me back to serve another year and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
