Traditional Professional (Master’s and Ed.D.) Scholarship for On-Campus Programs
35% tuition scholarships
Peabody College offers a Scholastic Achievement Scholarship, covering 35% tuition, for all admitted City Year AmeriCorps members and alumni enrolling in on-campus master’s and Ed.D. programs. In addition to this scholarship, applicants will also be considered for additional merit-based scholarships based on the overall quality of their application.
Scholarships will be credited to the student’s account at the beginning of each semester, including summers, for up to three years. Scholarship recipients must remain in good academic standing. The scholarship will cover the minimum number of hours for the degree as stated in the University catalog.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must indicate their City Year alumni or participant status at the time of application and upload an official service verification letter from City Year. Current participants should indicate that they will complete their service before enrollment.
Additional Benefits:
- No application fee (master’s and Ed.D. programs). Note the Ph.D. programs are managed by the Vanderbilt University Graduate School, and are not eligible for application fee waivers through Peabody College.
- Peabody College allows admitted students to defer their enrollment for one year if they choose to extend their time with City Year before beginning their program.
