Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

25% scholarships

You’re eligible to receive a 25 percent scholarship toward a Middlebury Institute master’s degree as well as matching funds for the Segal Education Award. Applicants must meet Middlebury Institute’s admissions requirements for their degree program of choice.

Scholarships are awarded to City Year AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.

Eligible programs

Students enrolling in our in-person programs are eligible for the 25% tuition scholarship and the Segal Education Award match. Please check here for a list of our in-person programs.

• Segal Education Award match: Middlebury will match the Segal Education Award up to the maximum annual award.
• Enrollment deferral: a one-year deferral for admitted students who decide to serve additional time with City Year before starting their studies.
