SUNY Erie offers City Year members

City Year is proud to partner with SUNY Erie, an institution with a mission, vision, and core values that drives them to excel, innovate, and create a positive impact in the world.

College Credit for up to two eligible courses

Two eligible course credits to SUNY Erie, credits will be awarded to all admitted and matriculated City Year alums in recognition of the prior learning through service at City Year.

Credit is awarded to City Year members and alums who complete at least one term of service.

Additional benefits

• Application fee waiver
• Enrollment deferral: Admitted students may defer enrollment by one year if they decide to stay with City Year for additional time before starting their studies.

To identify your City Year affiliation

To identify your affiliation with City Year, a service verification letter must be requested by emailing the City Year Office of Alumni Impact at alumni@cityyear.org with “SUNY Erie: City Year verification letter request” in the subject line. Within the email, state the site where you served and dates of service. This letter will be sent to the admissions office on your behalf.
