Babson College’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

20% scholarship

The scholarship award will be equal to 20% of tuition for one City Year applicant per year towards the one-year or two-year full-time Master of Business Administration program.

The scholarship may be renewed in subsequent years of the program for up to two years for the two-year MBA program only, provided recipients maintain continuous registration and remain in good academic standing, according to Olin School of Business’ standards.

The scholarship will be awarded to a City Year AmeriCorps member or alum who completed at least one term of service or a City Year staff member employed for at least two years.

The scholarship described above represents the minimum award; applicants will be considered for additional merit-based aid depending on the academic strength of their application.

• Enrollment deferral: Admitted students may defer enrollment by one year if they decide to stay with City Year for additional time before starting their studies.

To access the application fee waiver and apply for the scholarship

To get the application fee waived and be considered for the scholarship, please choose “City Year” in the dropdown menu on the “supplemental information” section of the online application. Please also request a service verification letter by emailing alumni@cityyear.org with “Babson F.W. Olin School of Business: City Year service verification letter” in the subject line. Within the email, indicate your service site and AmeriCorps graduation date and dates of service. Your service verification letter will be sent electronically by City Year to the graduate admissions office and added to your applicant file. Afterwards, your application fee will automatically be waived.
