Boston University Questrom School of Business

City Year is proud to partner with Boston University's Questrom School of Business, which feels that City Year applicants bring a rich perspective to their education that will add to the Social Impact Master of Business Administration program.

Boston University’s Questrom School of Business offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

$30,000 scholarships

A minimum $30,000 scholarship will be awarded to at least three City Year applicants for the full-time Social Impact Master of Business Administration. The City Year Scholarship will provide a minimum award of $15,000 for the first year and is renewable for a second year.

Applicants must meet Questrom’s admissions requirements. Enrolled students must meet the terms as noted in Questrom’s scholarship terms and acceptance, found in their admissions packet.

Scholarships are awarded to City Year AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.

Applicants will be considered for additional merit-based aid depending on the strength of their application.

  • Application fee waiver
  • Enrollment deferral: A one-year enrollment deferral is offered to admitted students who decide to serve additional time with City Year before starting their studies. If a deferment is needed, the City Year applicant should contact Questrom School of Business regarding the process for deferment.

To get the application fee waived and be considered for the scholarship, please complete this online application. Once the request has been processed, you will receive a follow-up email with additional instructions on how to submit your application. Do NOT click “submit and pay for programs” before receiving the instructions, as the graduate school is unable to refund application fees.
