Red Jacket Networking

On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, City Year Orlando hosted our Red Jacket Networking event at the Beardall Senior Center. This signature event brought together community leaders from a variety of industries for an interactive event to help City Year Orlando AmeriCorps members develop the skills to take them past their year of service and into their next leadership role.

During multiple eight-minute rotations, City Year Orlando AmeriCorps members interacted with external leaders to practice professional networking and make community connections. This unique networking event helps AmeriCorps members learn how to meet others in a comfortable and safe work environment that helps prepare them as they enter their career after service.
