OMYF Announced as New Team Sponsor

City Year Orlando is proud to announce Orlando Magic Youth Foundation as the new Team Sponsor at Maynard Evans High School. In partnership with the NBA Foundation, this investment will support a team of City Year AmeriCorps members serving students all day, every day, during the 2021-2022 school year.  

City Year AmeriCorps members will provide individualized social-emotional and academic support to more than 2,400 students at Maynard Evans High School while also preparing them with the skills and mindset to thrive in school and in life. As a Team Sponsor, OMYF employees will participate in local engagement initiatives that contribute to the professional development of AmeriCorps members and help prepare them to be leaders in their communities and careers while also supporting student success.
