City Year welcomes Heart of Florida United Way as Team Sponsor

City Year Orlando is excited to announce Heart of Florida United Way as the Team Sponsor at Oak Ridge High School for the 2018–19 school year. City Year Orlando AmeriCorps members serving at Oak Ridge High School will proudly wear the Heart of Florida United Way logo on their red jackets, as they serve all-day, every day, all-year.

“We are grateful to Heart of Florida United Way for their generous investment in City Year Orlando,” said Jared Billings, City Year Orlando’s Executive Director. “This partnership with City Year demonstrates Heart of Florida United Way’s deep commitment to the students of Central Florida.”

The City Year Orlando and Heart of Florida United Way partnership helps City Year support student academic and socio-emotional growth with the goal of increasing the number of students who are on-track to graduate, prepared for college and career at Oak Ridge High School.

Heart of Florida United Way (HFUW) is Central Florida’s most comprehensive health and human services charity and the largest provider of funds to the region’s most critical health and human service programs.
