Pathway to Equity Workshop
How to promote a culture of diversity, belonging, inclusion, and equity.
At City Year, our values are rooted in a commitment to diversity, belonging, inclusion, and equity, which we refer to as DBIE. Each component of DBIE carries its own significance but are interconnected. During this interactive workshop we invite participants to learn how City Year strives to create a culture of DBIE and how these efforts help establish a more inclusive work environment and retain a diverse workforce. City Year’s journey to fully live these values is ongoing and we invite our partners to learn and grow along with us.
Workshop Components:
• Leadership practices in creating inclusive work environments and retaining diverse talent
• A case study of City Year Kansas City’s DBIE efforts
• Strengthening empathy and community building skills
