We’re hiring student success coaches
City Year AmeriCorps members serve as student success coaches, supporting the development, growth and success of students in systemically under-resourced schools, while cultivating skills to be leaders in their communities and careers.
In 29 cities across the U.S., our corps members play a critical role in helping students reconnect with their school community, re-engage in their learning and recover from interrupted learning as a result of COVID-19. Applications are now open for the 2022-2023 school year.
Unfortunately, individuals who have received Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve as AmeriCorps members at this time.

Be between the ages of 17 and 25 (by July 1, 2023)

Have earned your high school diploma or GED equivalent (by July 1, 2023)

Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident
Unfortunately, individuals who have received Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve as AmeriCorps members at this time. -
Have served no more than three terms as an active AmeriCorps member.
