Comcast NBCUniversal Hour of Code at Noble Elementary School
Our City Year Noble team was so excited to host the second Hour of Code event of the year, this past May. Grades 3-8 were invited to practice coding and learn how to use creativity and problem-solving skills to create their own games and animations. Our team had tons of fun trying out the activities alongside our students, showing them just how exciting coding can really be.
We’re so grateful to our team sponsor, Comcast NBCUniversal, could provide us with tons of fun prizes including three Amazon Fire tablets! We held a raffle among our Hour of Code attendees to decide which three lucky students were able to take them home and continue the coding fun.
Being able to see the support of our team sponsor flow through to our students means the world to us!
Hour of Code is a global movement introducing tens of millions of students worldwide to computer science, inspiring kids to learn more, breaking stereotypes, and leaving them feeling empowered. To learn more about Hour of Code, visit https://hourofcode.com
