Get In The Game
On Friday, October 7, 2022, City Year Detroit will host Get in the Game, a new, interactive event featuring a strolling cocktail reception, games, and prizes. We hope you can join us as we put the FUN back in fundraising!
Working alongside our principals and teachers, our specially trained AmeriCorps members are helping accelerate academic recovery as students return to in-classroom learning and providing a welcoming environment built on belonging and a love of learning.
Our largest fundraiser of the year, Get in the Game will help City Year Detroit raise the critical funds we need to further serve our city’s students. It is a night to celebrate service, impact, idealism, and the efforts of our AmeriCorps members who serve all day, every day as tutors, mentors, and role models to more than 5,000 students in Detroit.
