Clark University offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

20%-50% scholarships (see below for specifics)

Clark University awards all admitted City Year applicants 20%-50% scholarships for a variety of Master’s degree programs, as well as select bachelor’s degree completion programs.

Scholarships are awarded to City Year members and alums who complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.

Application fee waiver

Enrollment deferral: a one-year deferral for admitted students who decide to serve additional time with City Year before starting their studies.

To identify your City Year affiliation

To identify your City Year affiliation, please request a service verification letter by emailing the City Year Alumni and Career Services Department at alumni@cityyear.org with “Clark: City Year verification letter request” in the subject line. Within the email, include the specific school/program you are applying to as well as the site where you served and dates of service. This letter will be sent back to you, and it should be uploaded to your application.

To access the application fee waiver and apply for the scholarship

1. On the additional information page of the application, please answer “yes” to “Do you have an affiliation with a recognized partnership?”
2. Once you answer yes, an additional drop-down will appear. Please select City Year.
3. As a result of the above two steps, your application fee will be automatically waived and you will be considered for the associated scholarship.
