Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

50%-100% scholarships

The Dean’s Leadership Award Program is a unique scholarship fund that awards academically excellent students who are committed to leadership and social responsibility with scholarships for the Master of Business Administration or Master of Science programs. Merit scholarship award amounts vary by program:

  • a minimum of two annual scholarships ranging from 50 – 100% tuition scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to City Year AmeriCorps members and alums who successfully complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.

Applicants are also eligible to be considered for further merit opportunities.

Application fee waiver
Enrollment deferral: Admitted students may defer enrollment by one year if they decide to stay with City Year for additional time before starting their studies.

Application deadlines

Applications are accepted and processed in the following priority round as well as on a rolling admissions basis:

  • Priority round – February 1
  • Rolling admissions – May 1 (deadline for full-time and international, F-1 seeking applicants)
  • Rolling admissions – August 1 (deadline for part-time domestic and SEVIS transfer applicants)

To identify your City Year affiliation

To be considered as a Dean’s Leadership Scholar, City Year applicants must indicate that they are a member of a Dean’s Leadership Award partner organization (City Year) on the online application.

To access the application fee waiver and apply for the scholarship

To get the application fee waived and be considered for the scholarship, a service verification letter must be requested by emailing alumni@cityyear.org with “Bentley University” in the subject line. Within the email, include your service site and AmeriCorps graduation month and year. This letter will be sent electronically by City Year to the admissions office and added to your applicant file.
