Team and program sponsors

Join the list of over 100 companies that support City Year teams across the U.S. to experience the results your investment will make in your communities and schools.

The Team Sponsor and Program Sponsor Programs provide a unique opportunity for a company to engage City Year’s work in school, participate in employee engagement opportunities in their local communities and across the country and have their logo proudly displayed on City Year jackets. Team and program sponsors receive a wide range of benefits by joining our efforts to create positive learning environments at systemically under-resourced schools.

We truly support and want to live the same values as City Year lives. And that’s really enhancing for our brand.

Sponsor a City Year team

City Year AmeriCorps members make a difference in the lives of students they serve and acquire valuable experience that helps prepare them to be leaders in their communities and careers. When you become a City Year team sponsor, your employees have the opportunity to contribute to the professional development of AmeriCorps members by coaching and mentoring these young adults, leading workshops or speaking at events. Your employees also can participate in volunteer activities that help transform schools inside and out in their local community. City Year will align engagement opportunities with your goals, such as encouraging financial literacy, comprehensive wellness, diversity and inclusion or interest in computer science.

Sponsor a City Year program

Program sponsorship enables your company to partner with City Year on a specific component of our school services, such as math, literacy, or improving attendance to keep students on track to graduate from high school with the skills necessary to succeed. We match your sponsorship of City Year school services with your mission, such as strengthening students’ social and emotional development or building their skills in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). From providing more access to dynamic afterschool programs to ensuring students are prepared for college and the workforce, we can help you identify an area of our holistic school services to support.

You can see the impact that a City Year team has on the school and it’s not just on the group of kids that the City Year team works with, it’s on the entire educational environment. You see the value that’s being delivered.
