Do you feel destined for greatness? Do you have DC pride that you want to turn into something beautiful? Do you enjoy helping your community? Are you in need of service hours for graduation? Are you itching to find something awesome to do over Spring Break? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this application is for you. Welcome to City Year’s Student Service Week.

Student Service Week (SSW) is a fun and fast-paced week of service projects and learning open to any student in grades 9-12 in the DMV area. Some of the topics we will explore include: homelessness, identity, environmentalism and justice. Students will have the chance to learn about how these topics affect their community and the world around them. They will also be able to participate in hands-on projects relating to these topics. This will be a great opportunity for students to earn service hours, make new friends, learn valuable skills and have fun!
