On October 26th, 2013 City Year Washington, DC organized more than 150 volunteers for Make A Difference Day. Volunteers partnered with DC Promise Neighborhood Initiative (DCPNI) to transform the former Kenilworth Elementary School into a unique environment to educate and engage students and families in the community. Service projects included painting and landscaping. Here are some of our favorite photos from the day.
