Chris Farzner and Molly Stuber are posing with the City Year Care Force team that graduated in 2017.

This page is intended for current AmeriCorps Members hoping to serve a second year with Team Care Force:

The main function of CSX sponsored Team Care Force (TCF) is to help plan our calendar of service events. When in the office, TCF assists Care Force staff with event document creation, logistical prep and material procurement. When on the road TCF prepares the projects and tasks that make up each event.

For a typical event at least two TCF members are on the Event Team. The Event Team consists of Care Force staff, TCF and occassionally Care Force Reserves.

During the event day, members of TCF typically serve as Project Coordinators (PCs) leading volunteers in safely completing their projects.

Every year we are looking for a new diverse team of eight Senior AmeriCorps Members. The TCF application deadlines are the same as all other returning AmeriCorps Member positions within City Year.

Qualifications to be on Team Care Force are the following:

  • By June of 2019, you must have served at least one half AmeriCorps term with City Year at one of our 29 sites.

  • Be willing to serve based out of Boston.

  • Enjoy physical service and volunteer event management.

If you are interested in joining TCF please email Molly Stuber (
