San José is home to an ethnically diverse community, booming technology companies and aspiring entrepreneurs. City Year San José/Silicon Valley works alongside teachers and community partners to support students across our city.
We are working to address the lack of equitable access to educational opportunities. Our City Year San José/Silicon Valley AmeriCorps members partner with teachers and schools to add more support and to help create learning environments where all students can build on their strengths and fully engage in their learning.
In partnership with Alum Rock Union School District and Ravenswood School District, our team uses both qualitative and quantitative data to ensure that our AmeriCorps members are effectively supporting students.
