  • Tapping into Sacramento’s Potential

At City Year, we believe education has the power to help every child reach his or her potential. However, in high-poverty communities there are external factors and obstacles students are faced with every day that can interfere with their ability to get to school ready to learn.

  • Powerful Results

Our City Year AmeriCorps members serve students in seven Sacramento schools using our Whole School, Whole Child model. As we serve, we measure our success.

  • Highly Skilled Near-Peer mentors

City Year Sacramento deploys 66 highly skilled AmeriCorps members to serve in seven schools impacting over 4,000 students at Father Keith B. Kenny K-8, Fern Bacon Middle School, Leataata Floyd Elementary, Oak Park Preparatory Academy, Oak Ridge Elementary School, Rosa Parks K-8 School, and Sacramento Charter High School.
