City Year Sacramento’s annual Women Empowering Women Breakfast is a dynamic fundraising and networking event that unites hundreds of local female leaders and supporters to celebrate women’s achievements and advance educational opportunities for Sacramento students. Taking place just before Women’s History Month, this event sets the stage for a month-long celebration of women’s achievements and leadership. This event is open to all regardless of gender. 

City Year is an education-focused national nonprofit organization founded in 1988 that partners with public schools to help students and schools succeed. Teams of City Year AmeriCorps members ages 17-24 serve full- time as tutors, mentors and role models in 29 cities across the country, helping students build academic and social skills that are critical for success in school and life.

City Year Sacramento is proud to be providing critical services in Sac City Unified and creating workforce development pipeline that benefits the greater Sacramento community.
