All are welcome to join City Year Sacramento in celebrating our AmeriCorps members’ start of their service year.

City Year is a program that unites young adults from different backgrounds who commit to a year of service as Student Success Coaches in under-resourced schools focusing on social-emotional, academic, and attendance support. This commitment is needed more than ever before with the impact of the pandemic creating added stress and trauma for all students. Opening Day represents a time to celebrate the start of what will surely be a challenging but incredibly rewarding year for City Year AmeriCorps members. We invite you to share in the celebration with us.

Our ceremony will include the high energy you can only expect from City Year, Corps speakers, community speakers, and more!
