My Partner Teacher(s) & Me

While all City Year AmeriCorps members serve alongside a partner teacher, a select number are placed in multiple classrooms, which means they work with two sets of students and teachers! Elizabeth Olson, a first-year AmeriCorps member serving at Parker-Varney Elementary School, is one of these lucky few. City Year New Hampshire's 2nd Annual FIRST LEGO League Expo

FIRST LEGO League (FLL), a City Year-led afterschool program, allows students to get hands-on experience with science and technology. A Celebration of Service at City Year New Hampshire's Starry Starry Night Gala

City Year New Hampshire's 18th Annual Starry Starry Night gala was a celebration of the shared value of service to a cause greater than self. The event honored veterans, educators, public officials, first responders and members of national service like City Year’s AmeriCorps members. Honoring Dr. King's Legacy Through a Day of Service

2018 marked the first year in over a decade that City Year New Hampshire led a day of service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The theme of this event was Building the Beloved Community, which refers to one of Dr. King's speeches. Learn more about how our site engaged fellow AmeriCorps programs in service projects, led local families in culture-themed workshops and hosted social justice workshops.
