City Year Milwaukee’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service shines a spotlight on service as a powerful force to bridge social divides and to improve educational opportunities for students across the country.
During the school year, 100 City Year Milwaukee AmeriCorps members serve every day in 13 Milwaukee schools as tutors, mentors and role models, preparing students with the skills and mindsets to succeed in school and in life.
