City Year Milwaukee Congratulates Superintendent Driver!

"It is a momentous day for Milwaukee Public Schools and students in Milwaukee. Dr. Darienne Driver becoming Superintendent is a very positive and forward thinking move by the MPS School Board. I applaud their decision and know that Dr. Driver will continue pushing some of the important initiatives already in place in addition to adding new, creative ideas for success. Bravo!!!"

- Julia A. Uihlein, City Year Milwaukee Board Chair

"We are so excited for Dr. Driver's appointment as Superintendent of Milwaukee Public Schools. In the short time she's already been at MPS, it's clear she has already made an impact on the school district with her forward thinking, positive energy, and student centered approach. She has been a great supporter of our own work partnering with teachers in the classroom, and we look forward to continuing to work with her this school year in a new capacity."
