MLK Weekend of Service Project (Alumni Homecoming)
We invite all supporters who want to make a difference to join our City Year Alumni and AmeriCorps members in honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy through service.
🌟 City Year Little Rock MLK Homecoming Weekend of Service 🌟
As a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and service to other, City Year considers MLK Day as a day on not off. City Year Little Rock will be mobilizing our AmeriCorps members, staff, alumni and volunteers to serve alongside one another in Central Arkansas. Join us as we come together to enhance and support McDermott Elementary School. We will be painting a mural and completing other school beautification projects.

- 📍 Location: McDermott Elementary School
- Details: The first 125 participants will receive a free lunch (sponsored by Arkansas Children’s Hospital and provided by Chicken Salad Chick) and a t-shirt (sponsored by INK)!
Your participation will help us make a tangible impact on a local school and community while celebrating the spirit of service that drives our mission. Together, we’ll work on projects that support students, educators, and families in meaningful ways.
We look forward to uniting with alumni, supporters, and partners to make a difference together!
