City Year AmeriCorps member benefits
You’ll not only make a measurable impact in the lives of the students and communities you serve, but you’ll grow as an individual, too. During your 11 months of service, you’ll develop leadership and professional skills that will help you advance in your career after City Year—whether you choose to go into nonprofit, law, medicine or business.
Over the course of your 11 months of service, you’ll receive a biweekly stipend, pre-planned time off, an education award, health insurance and localized benefits at your site.
Through City Year’s comprehensive leadership development model, ongoing training, and coaching from your impact manager you will receive support to guide your work with students and help further your own personal and career goals.
No matter what career path you choose after City Year, your experience with us will help you prepare for it.
