Individual Giving

The Red Jacket Society is a community of philanthropic individuals and families who believe in the power of the red jacket. Red Jacket Society members donate $10,000 annually and receive special invitations to local and national events, personalized updates from an AmeriCorps member, volunteer opportunities, and much more. Learn more here.

The Women's Leadership Network is a new giving society for women leaders in Boston. Members can network with each other and connect with City Year Boston's work in a variety of ways. For more information, please contact Becca Canavan at bcanavan@cityyear.org.

The Ambassadors' Circle is a volunteer group of socially conscious and motivated young professionals who are committed to advancing the mission and values of City Year. Members will have the opportunity to connect with peers, engage in meaningful volunteer opportunities, and develop leadership skills, while making a positive impact on our community and the students of Boston. Exclusive engagement opportunities include access to special events, networking opportunities with City Year board leadership, school-based volunteer projects, and professional development programming. For more information, please contact Nora Lehan at nlehan@cityyear.org.

The City Year Boston Seven Generations Board is a volunteer group of successful, socially conscious and motivated citizens of Greater Boston, who are committed to supporting and promoting City Year Boston and its corps members, and national service as a whole. Members serve as beacons in the Boston community who “shine a light” by being advocates and champions for citizen service and equity in education. For more information, please contact Ela Bajus at ebajus@cityyear.org.

General individual giving is a way to directly support our service in Boston Public Schools. Annual giving is a way to give that support in a sustained way. For more information, please contact Nina Barker Blain at nbarker@cityyear.org.

City Year Boston hosts several fundraising events throughout the year: breakfasts, receptions, and our annual Starry Starry Night gala in May. These events include dynamic corps member speakers who report directly from service on the ground, in their own words. If you'd like to get involved in any of our events, please contact Kirsten af Klinteberg at kafklinteberg@cityyear.org
Have you donated to us (thanks!) and need an EIN? Need a receipt? Have other questions? Please contact Jana Magnus at jmagnus@cityyear.org.
