The pandemic highlights how important feeling connected is for all of us. When there were forces trying to keep us separate and distanced, collectively we found ways build connectedness and remain engaged.
As learning environments shifted over this last year, City Year’s AmeriCorps members continued to show up each and every day. Through every breakout group or office hours they hosted virtually or phone call placed to a student’s home, their commitment to creating the building blocks of connection with students never wavered.
Join us in celebrating the unbreakable spirit of our dedicated AmeriCorps members, students, and school communities at our annual Starry Night Gala. Spend the evening with us – virtually – to connect with one another and hear from City Year AmeriCorps members, champions, and partners as we celebrate our collective commitment to Boston’s students and schools.
Wednesday, May 26, 2021
5:00-5:30pm: Virtual Reception
5:30-6:00pm: Program
Registration is required.
This year’s Starry Night gala will be held on Lunchpool, a platform that makes virtual events feel like the real thing. Guests will have the opportunity to sit at virtual tables and mingle friends, colleagues, event guests, and AmeriCorps members before the event program begins.
Starry Night is free to attend, but when you register, please consider a donation to help power our AmeriCorps members’ impact with students. Or, purchase one of the ticket options available and receive a special gift to thank you and help make Starry Night even more memorable! Our goal is to raise $500,000 to support our AmeriCorps members’ impact in classrooms for the 2021-2022 school year.
Share Your Unbreakable Stories
