City Year’s annual MLK Day of Service seeks to unite members of our community in a day of giving and learning. While we will celebrate differently this year to maintain volunteers’ health and safety – conducting the entire day virtually – we know our time together will help to build a better city for our local young learners, whose ingenuity, strength and resiliency has shone throughout the pandemic.
In addition to offering a learning session focused on social justice in the context of Dr. King’s work, we will also be hosting a virtual service project to create school supplies for hundreds of students at three Boston Public Schools.
