City Year Greater Boston’s annual Women’s Leadership Breakfast is an opportunity for women in the community to gather in shared service and support students throughout Boston and Everett. Newly appointed Superintendent of Boston Public Schools, Mary Skipper, will join City Year Greater Boston’s Executive Director, Monica Roberts in a facilitated discussion. Together, they will share their perspectives on why education requires our attention – particularly today – and how City Year’s AmeriCorps members impact Greater Boston’s schools by promoting social emotional learning and providing resources to reduce classroom inequities.

In partnership with teachers and schools, City Year AmeriCorps members cultivate learning environments where all students can build on their strengths, fully engage, and experience success — helping them progress toward bright futures.
