“Why do I serve? I serve because I’ve seen first-hand how much service can impact lives.”
–Dawnn Jaffier, 2011

Dawnn Jaffier was a shining leader and service role model for her Boston community.  She was a cherished member of the 2010-11 City Year Boston corps serving in the Maurice J. Tobin School. She loved working with children, and they loved her. We are heartbroken by her loss but are inspired by her life.

Tomorrow, Thursday, August 28, a candlelight vigil will be held in her honor. We invite our community to join in remembering her life and her spirit of service. Together, we can ensure that Dawnn’s passion for helping children reach their potential lives on.

Candlelight Vigil
