On this spring day of April 4, it is snowing in Boston. Yet even with this last grasp of winter, one student shares a poem of the summer time during National Poetry Month.

Let’s read a poem about the beach.
Water splashing, colors are brightening.
Tanning is good, tanning is great.
Let’s go to the arcade
and play some games.
Let’s get a hot dog and eat.
Oh! What’s that?
Are those turtles, stingrays, and fishes?
Pufferfish, clownfish, minnows?
Throw the ball over the net.
Throw the ball over the net!
Can you guess what it is?
Yep, you guessed it.
I pack my stuff, but oh no,
A thunderstorm came!
