Bryan's responsibilities include overseeing the training and development of City Year AmeriCorps members, supervising the Whole School Whole Child service model delivered in Boston Public Schools, and managing key education and community-based stakeholder relationships. He served as City Year Boston’s Interim Executive Director while Sandra Lopez Burke was on a Barr Fellowship sabbatical through October 2015. Prior to that, Bryan was Managing Director for Planning and Strategy for the site, where he managed financial and strategic planning functions and oversaw the Civic Engagement and External Affairs teams. Prior to joining City Year in 2008, Bryan managed a portfolio of service and civic engagement initiatives for students at the University of Rochester and recent graduates from Rochester-area colleges. He earned his bachelor's degree in anthropology and master's degree in business administration from the University of Rochester.
