Saint Anselm College offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

$5,000-$7,500 scholarships

The minimum City Year Scholarship is $5,000- $7,500 annually towards full-time tuition for qualified City Year applicants for study in an undergraduate degree program.

Scholarships are renewable for a maximum of four years (eight semesters) for either transfer or first-time freshman students. Students must meet scholarship renewal criteria, including maintaining a CGPA of 2.2 or better and continued full-time enrollment. Scholarship amounts vary based on residential or commuter status.

Students may be eligible for additional merit scholarships and need-based aid.

Scholarships are awarded to City Year AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.

Additional benefits

• There is no application fee for prospective students.
• Enrollment deferral: A one-year deferral is available for accepted students who decide to serve additional time with City Year before enrolling at Saint Anselm.

The deadline to apply to Saint Anselm College is February 1. For those interested in nursing, an application must be submitted by December 1.

To waive the application fee, please use the fee waiver code “CY1889”.

To be considered for the scholarship, a service verification letter must be requested by emailing alumni@cityyear.org with “Saint Anselm College: City Year verification letter request” in the subject line. Within the email, include the site where you served and your AmeriCorps graduation month and year. This letter will be sent electronically by City Year to the admissions office and added to your applicant file.
