Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff

25% scholarships

A scholarship equal to 25% of tuition (per credit) will be awarded to all admitted City Year applicants for all on-campus and online bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in the College of Professional Studies. The scholarship will be applied for the duration of the program for up to seven years from initial enrollment.

Scholarships awarded to City Year AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.

Additional benefits

• There is no fee to apply.
• Enrollment deferral: a one-year deferral for admitted students who decide to serve with City Year before starting their studies with Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies

Eligible programs

• All bachelor’s degree programs, including analytics, biotechnology, digital communication and media, management, psychology and more
• All master’s degree programs, including analytics, corporate and organizational communication, human resources management, leadership, nonprofit management and more

In Miami, Northeastern’s newest campus in its global university system, the College of Professional Studies offers a series of programs, including degree completion programs in analytics, information technology and finance and accounting management, as well as a master’s degree in project management. To identify your City Year affiliation and apply for the scholarship

When completing the application, please select “City Year” in answer to the questions “Are you affiliated with one of the following associations, organizations, companies, etc.?” and “Are you currently employed at one of the following?” to identify your City Year affiliation.

To be eligible for the scholarship, a service verification letter must be requested by emailing alumni@cityyear.org with “Northeastern University College of Professional Studies (grad or undergrad)” in the subject line. Within the email, include the site where you served and your AmeriCorps graduation month and year. This letter will be sent from City Year back to you to be uploaded to your application file.
