City Year is proud to partner with Illinois Institute of Technology, a leading undergraduate institution focused on engineering, technology, business, psychology and architecture, offering an annual tuition scholarship and housing scholarship.
Illinois Institute of Technology offers City Year AmeriCorps members, alums and staff
A $15,000 scholarship will be awarded to all admitted City Year applicants who pursue a full-time undergraduate Bachelor of Science program.
Those who elect to reside at one of the Illinois Institute of Technology’s on-campus residence halls are eligible for a $2,500 housing scholarship.
Scholarships are awarded to City Year AmeriCorps members and alums who complete at least one term of service and City Year staff employed for at least two years.
Applicants will be considered for additional merit-based and need-based awards depending on the strength of their application and completion of the FAFSA.
All full-time Bachelor of Science programs within the following colleges are eligible for the scholarship described above:
- Armour College of Engineering
- College of Architecture
- College of Computing
- Lewis College of Sciences and Letters
- Stuart School of Business
- Application fee waiver
- Enrollment deferral: A one-year deferral is offered for students admitted to an undergraduate program who decide to serve additional time with City Year before starting their undergraduate study.
