Join City Year Washington, DC for a service day on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 16, 2012, to honor the memory of MLK. Service will focus on community beautification including small construction projects and painting murals.

When: 8:30am - 1:00pm Monday, January 16, 2012

Where: Dunbar High School, 1301 New Jersey Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20001

What: Volunteers will participate in service projects that help revitalize the community, including eco-friendly projects, revitalizing unused spaces, small construction projects, planting gardens, and painting inspirational murals.  Most projects will involve painting, so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting messy!
