Make It A Day On!
Join City Year Washington, DC for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday, January 18, 2010 to celebrate and honor the memory of MLK. The service project is sponsored by Corporate Executive Board (CEB). City Year Young Heroes, City Heroes, corps members, alumni, family, friends, CEB employees, and community volunteers will celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. King by participating in a morning of high-impact community service at Ron Brown Middle School in Northeast Washington, DC. Following the service project, 125 middle school students and 75 high school students will officially begin their six-month participation in the City Year Heroes Program with an inspirational Opening Day Ceremony.
