The Happy Hour will raise money for City Year Washington, DC. City Year unites young people, ages 17 to 24, of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service, giving them the skill and opportunities to change the world. As tutors, mentors and role models, these young leaders – called corps members - help children stay in school and on track, and transform schools and communities across Washington, DC.

City Year Washington, DC Associate Board was created in the fall of 2010 to advise, support, and promote City Year Washington, DC and its corps members, consistent with the vision and goals of City Year Washington, DC and the larger City Year organization.
