Honoring Brad Smith, General Counsel and Executive Vice President for Microsoft, and celebrating the new partnership between City Year and Microsoft as part of YOUTHSPARK, Microsoft’s focused initiative to empower youth to change their world. As part of that partnership, City Year corps members provide academic tutoring and near-peer mentoring focused on Seattle students who are showing early warning signs of dropping out of school.
To present Brad Smith with City Year's Lifetime of Service Award will be Connie Ballmer -- a close friend of both City Year and Brad Smith.
