On October 2, 2009, in the company of family, friends, and supporters, 57 diverse young leaders pledged to make a difference in the schools and neighborhoods of Seattle and King County.
Immediately following the high-energy public ceremony, corps members put their pledge into action by completing a transformative service project at the Saint Mark Greenbelt.
We were joined by community and corporate leaders, service partners, and friends—as City Year kicked off another poweful year of service!
