City Year San Antonio - Opening Day

When: Friday, October 1, 2010

Program: 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Reception: 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Where: San Antonio City Council Chambers (114 W. Commerce, 78205)

In the company of family, friends, and community supporters, City Year San Antonio will introduce 45 young diverse leaders who will pledge to make a difference by serving 10 months in the San Antonio community as tutors, mentors, and role models working to fight the drop-out crisis affecting our nation.  

The 45 City Year San Antonio corps members are amoung 1,750 City Year corp members who are pledging to serve the community and country in 20 locations across the U.S. They are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of students and the communities in which they serve.
