The Application Process
To complete an application, follow the steps below.
Step 1- To apply to City Year you need to complete the online application or request a paper application from our Recruitment Manager and mail it to our office. If you cannot access the application, please contact us at (210)247-4423 to request that an application be mailed to you.

Spring..............February 15, 2012 (Senior Corps Applications deadline)
Summer..............April 30, 2012
Step 2- Using the forms provided with the application, you will need to submit two letters of recommendation from two people who know your professional and academic record via online (found within application). You should not ask a family member, classmate, co-worker, or friend to serve as a reference. If you did not complete your application online, please mail your letters of recommendations to our office along with your application and essays to the below address.

Step 3-Interview. Being selected to serve with City Year is a competitive process. All completed applications are reviewed for program eligibility. Once the initial review is conducted, you may be contacted by recruitment staff to schedule an interview. If you are unable to interview in person, City Year will conduct a phone interview with you.
