City Year Rhode Island honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in two ways:
With the launch of our
Young Heroes program led by corps members that engage more than 100 Rhode Island middle school students in service initiatives; and
Through a transformative service day led by the state's AmeriCorps programs that engages Heroes, their friends and families, alumni, and corporate partners to make a difference in Rhode Island’s neighborhoods.
