History

Rhode Island became the second City Year location (after Boston) in 1993, and corps members have been serving across the state since then thanks to the dedicated commitment of champions, friends and family.  Corps members serve in the diverse neighborhoods of Providence, Pawtucket, Kent County and Newport.
